- Find the buckle that is closest to the waist adjustment slide.
- Secure the buckle to the clipping point in the middle of the leash.
- Move waist adjustment slide up away from the clipping point and adjust the leash until you form a handle.

- From the Traditional Long Leash configuration, slide the waist buckle down to the secure clipping point until a large circle is formed.
- Place the circle above your head and down around your waist.
- Tighten the waist adjustment slide until snug.

- From the Waist Leash configuration, loosen the waist adjustment slide until the leash is loose around the waist.
- Move one side of the leash up and around the shoulder and then retighten the adjustment slide.

- From the Traditional Long Leash configuration, unclip the buckle from the secure attachment in the middle of the leash.
- Secure buckles on both ends of the leash to your dog's harness or collar's attachment point.
- Slide the waist adjustment slide towards the secure attachment point on the leash until it touches.
- Adjust the end of the leash on the other side of the slide to form a handle.

- From the Traditional Long Leash configuration, unclip the buckle from the secure attachment in the middle of the leash.
- Secure one buckle on one dog and the other buckle on the other dog's collar.
- Slide the waist adjustment slide towards the secure attachment point on the leash until it touches.
- Adjust the end of the leash on the other side of the slide to form a handle.
